High-purity sodium chloride (NaCl) in granular or tablet form specifically graded for softener and ion exchange resin regeneration. The brine solution produced regenerates exhausted sodium-cycle softener resin by displacing accumulated calcium and magnesium ions, restoring full exchange capacity. Low impurity levels prevent resin fouling and maintain long resin service life.
