Zinc PCA (Zinc L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid) is a zinc salt of the natural skin moisturizing factor PCA (pyroglutamic acid), combining the sebum-regulating and anti-bacterial properties of zinc with the NMF-like moisturizing activity of PCA. It effectively normalizes sebaceous gland activity, reduces acne-causing bacteria, and maintains optimal skin hydration without over-drying. Used at 0.5–2% in oily, combination, and acne-prone skin formulations.
