Isophorone
CAS Number: 78-59-1
Isophorone (≥99.0%) is a high-boiling, slow-evaporating cyclic ketone solvent used in high-solids coatings, automotive refinishes, and wood coatings where maximum open time and flow is required. It is also a key chemical intermediate for isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), 3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexanol, and menthol synthesis.
Technical Specifications
