Polyepoxysuccinic Acid Scale Inhibitor (PESA)
CAS Number: 51274-37-4
Polyepoxysuccinic acid (PESA) is a green, phosphorus-free and nitrogen-free scale inhibitor with excellent biodegradability. It is highly effective against calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and barium sulfate scales via threshold inhibition and crystal modification. Preferred in environmentally regulated discharge zones as a replacement for phosphonate-based inhibitors.
