Tricresyl Phosphate (TCP) EP/Antiwear Additive

CAS Number: 1330-78-5

Tricresyl phosphate (TCP) is a well-established aryl phosphate ester used as an extreme pressure and antiwear additive in aviation turbine oils, industrial gear oils, and high-performance automotive lubricants. It forms a tenacious iron phosphate tribofilm at elevated temperatures that protects against scuffing under shock loading. TCP is the benchmark antiwear additive in aviation turbine oils certified to MIL-PRF-23699 and DEF STAN 91-097.
