Industrial mixed xylene (≥98.5%) is a blend of ortho-, meta-, and para-xylene isomers, providing a high-boiling aromatic solvent with excellent solvency for alkyds, epoxies, and polyurethane coatings. It is widely used as a diluent in industrial coatings, a feedstock for phthalic anhydride and polyester production, and as a cleaning and extraction solvent.
