2,4-D Amine Salt Broadleaf Herbicide

CAS Number: 2008-39-1

2,4-D dimethylamine salt is the most widely used formulation form of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, a selective systemic auxin-mimicking herbicide used for broadleaf weed control in cereals, corn, rice, pastures, and non-crop areas. It disrupts normal plant growth hormone function, causing uncontrolled, abnormal growth leading to plant death in susceptible dicot species while leaving grasses unharmed. 2,4-D amine salt is water-soluble, low in volatility, and compatible with glyphosate and other herbicide tank-mix partners.
