Alkyl polyglucoside (APG) is a non-ionic, sugar-based surfactant derived from renewable glucose and fatty alcohol feedstocks, offering excellent biodegradability and low mammalian toxicity for agricultural use. It provides outstanding wetting, spreading, and emulsification properties in pesticide formulations including SC, SE, EW, and WG types. APG is increasingly favored as a green adjuvant in modern agrochemical formulations due to its compatibility with biopesticides and organic crop production.
