Silicone Surfactant (Organosilicone Adjuvant)

CAS Number: 27306-78-1

Organosilicone adjuvants (Silwet-type) are trisiloxane-based super-spreading surfactants that dramatically reduce spray droplet surface tension, enabling rapid spreading and stomatal penetration of foliar-applied pesticides. At low use rates (0.05–0.1% v/v), they increase the contact area of spray deposits and improve rainfastness. They are used with systemic herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides to maximize field performance.
