Alcohol ethoxylate AEO-9 is a nonionic surfactant produced by the ethoxylation of fatty alcohols with 9 moles of ethylene oxide. It exhibits excellent wetting, emulsification, and detergency with good tolerance to water hardness. As a low-foaming nonionic, it is widely used in machine-wash detergents and industrial cleaning systems.
