Glutaraldehyde Water Treatment Biocide (50%)
CAS Number: 111-30-8
Glutaraldehyde is a broad-spectrum, non-oxidizing biocide widely used in oilfield produced water, cooling water, and industrial water systems for controlling sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB), acid-producing bacteria (APB), and general heterotrophic bacteria. Supplied as 50% aqueous solution, it is effective against sessile biofilm bacteria and is compatible with most corrosion and scale inhibitors.
