Leather Filling Agent
Leather filling agent is an acrylic polymer or protein-based compound that fills the loose, open fiber network of cowhide flanks and bellies, producing a more uniform cross-section and improving overall leather quality. It penetrates deep into the corium layer to deposit polymer chains that bind loose fibers together, adding body and firmness. Enables production of high-quality shoe uppers and garment leather from previously lower-grade hides.
