Glyphosate IPA Salt Herbicide Active
CAS Number: 38641-94-0
Glyphosate isopropylamine (IPA) salt is the most widely used form of glyphosate, the world's best-selling herbicide active ingredient, for formulation into SL concentrates such as Roundup. It inhibits the EPSPS enzyme in the shikimate pathway, blocking aromatic amino acid synthesis in all plants. Glyphosate IPA salt is used for non-selective pre-plant burndown, post-emergent broadleaf and grass weed control in glyphosate-tolerant (GT) crops, and industrial vegetation management.
