Azoxystrobin Strobilurin Fungicide Active Ingredient

CAS Number: 131860-33-8

Azoxystrobin is a broad-spectrum strobilurin (QoI) fungicide that inhibits mitochondrial respiration in fungi by blocking electron transport at the Qo site of cytochrome bc1 complex. It controls a wider range of diseases than any other single fungicide class, including Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, Deuteromycetes, and Oomycetes, covering diseases such as powdery mildew, rusts, scabs, blights, and downy mildew. Azoxystrobin also provides plant health benefits including improved nitrogen use efficiency and stress tolerance.
