Filming Amine Boiler Treatment (Octadecylamine Type)
CAS Number: 628-63-7
Filming amine boiler treatment is a corrosion inhibitor for steam boiler and condensate return line systems, based on filming amines (such as octadecylamine) that form a protective hydrophobic monomolecular film on metal surfaces. This film prevents corrosive oxygen and carbon dioxide from attacking the metal. It is added to boiler water or steam to protect the entire condensate circuit from corrosion and pitting.
Technical Specifications
