Gibberellic Acid (GA3) Plant Growth Regulator

CAS Number: 77-06-5

Gibberellic acid (GA3) is a naturally occurring plant hormone from the gibberellin class, used as a plant growth regulator to promote stem elongation, seed germination, fruit setting, and parthenocarpic fruit development. It is widely applied in viticulture to increase berry size and elongate grape clusters, in citrus production to delay rind aging, and in cereal seed production to break dormancy. GA3 is produced by microbial fermentation and is registered for food crops in most global markets.
