Isopropanol (IPA, 99.9% & 70% Disinfectant Grade)
CAS Number: 67-63-0
Isopropanol (IPA) is a fast-evaporating, broad-spectrum antimicrobial alcohol widely used in hand sanitizers, surface disinfectants, and pharmaceutical cleaning applications. At 70–75% aqueous concentration, IPA is more effective against bacteria and viruses than 99% IPA because water is needed to denature proteins. It is also a key solvent in electronics cleaning, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and laboratory use.
