Polyvinyl Acetate (PVAc) Film-Forming Sticker

CAS Number: 9003-20-7

Polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) emulsion is used as a film-forming sticker and rainfastness agent in foliar pesticide sprays and seed treatment formulations. Upon drying, PVAc forms a flexible, water-resistant film that bonds pesticide deposits to plant surfaces, significantly extending residual efficacy and reducing wash-off during rainfall events. It is widely used in seed coating formulations to provide mechanical and biological protection to seeds during storage and germination.
