Xanthan Gum (Agrochemical Grade) SC Suspending Agent

CAS Number: 11138-66-2

Xanthan gum is a microbial exopolysaccharide produced by Xanthomonas campestris, used in agrochemical formulations as a powerful suspending agent and rheology modifier. Its highly pronounced pseudo-plastic behavior keeps active ingredient particles in suspension at rest while allowing easy pouring and pumping under shear. Xanthan gum is the preferred polymer for SC, CS (capsule suspension), and OF (oil dispersion) formulations requiring long-term storage stability.
