Propylene Glycol (Agrochemical Grade)

CAS Number: 57-55-6

Propylene glycol (1,2-propanediol) is a versatile humectant and co-solvent used in agricultural formulations including SC suspensions, SL solutions, and WG wettable granules. It lowers the freezing point of water-based formulations to prevent crystallization during cold storage and distribution, while also acting as a plasticizer in film-forming sticker formulations. Its low toxicity and biodegradability make it a preferred carrier in both conventional and reduced-risk pesticide products.
