Sodium Perborate Monohydrate
CAS Number: 10332-33-9
Sodium perborate monohydrate is an oxygen-based bleaching agent that releases hydrogen peroxide in solution, providing fabric bleaching, stain removal, and bacteriostatic effects. The monohydrate form is more concentrated and dissolves faster than the tetrahydrate, making it preferred in compact detergent formulations and tablets. It is effective at wash temperatures above 60°C or when used with TAED activator.
